Let’s Build a Plan That Makes Beauty School Possible.

We believe cost should never stand between you and the career you want. As a family-owned school, we take the time to sit down with you and your family to find a funding plan that actually works, combining the options you qualify for and explaining every step in plain English. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, and our Financial Aid Office is here to guide you through it all, from the FAFSA® to Tribal funding to VA benefits.

The first step is simple: complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) to see what you may qualify for.

Federal Student Aid

As a Title IV–eligible school, Jenks Beauty College offers several types of federal student aid to eligible students:

Pell Grants & SEOG Grants

Grants are need-based aid that you don’t have to repay. They’re typically awarded to students who haven’t yet earned a bachelor’s or professional degree, and the amount is based on financial need.

Subsidized & Unsubsidized Loans

Federal student loans help cover the cost of your education. Subsidized loans don’t accrue interest while you’re in school; unsubsidized loans begin accruing interest right away. Loans must be repaid.

PLUS Loans

These federal loans allow parents of dependent students to help cover educational costs.
Borrow only what you need. Our Financial Aid Office will help you understand each option before you decide.

Hear What Others Have To Say

Susie gave me a great cut! It was difficult to get back in the chair after 10 years of doing it myself, but Susie did a great cut with bangs and the teachers were all very nice and explained the reasoning on why to cut certain directions. Very good experience, excellent service.

Shelby New

The student and instructor were extremely sweet, kind and gracious. The haircut was exactly what I wanted actually exceeded my expectations and I love coming here.

Birdy girl

Xiomara did a wonderful job on my color today! It was a great experience to watch the team work collaboratively between students and teachers. I highly recommend visiting JBC and being a part of someone’s education.

Financial Aid FAQs

What is the FAFSA® and why does it matter?

The FAFSA® is the federal application that determines your eligibility for grants and loans. It produces a report our Financial Aid Office uses to build your aid package. You can complete it free at studentaid.gov — our school code is 015428.

When should I apply for financial aid?

Submit the FAFSA® as soon as it opens for your academic year, and update it annually while you’re enrolled. Once it’s processed, we’ll walk you through your next steps.

Can I combine Tribal or VA funding with federal aid?

In many cases, yes. Depending on eligibility, students may layer federal aid with Tribal funding, VA benefits, or other resources. Our Financial Aid Office will help you put the right combination together.

Does Jenks Beauty College accept Oklahoma's Promise?

No — Oklahoma’s Promise does not cover tuition at Jenks Beauty College. But there are several other funding paths we can help you explore, including federal aid, Tribal funding, and VA benefits.

How much will my Tribe contribute?

It varies by Tribe and program, and amounts can be substantial. We recommend contacting your Tribal education office directly to confirm current eligibility and funding levels — and we’re happy to help you coordinate it with your other aid.

Who do I contact with financial aid questions?

Call our Financial Aid Office at 918-299-0901. For VA benefits specifically, reach out to our Financial Aid Director and Veteran SCO, Leonda Clements.
